WIRACOCHA
This Ancient Inca god was carved in a 1.98m x 0.74m granite rock and was found by accident by an italian archeologist in 1873 whilst on an expedition in the Andes of central Peru in the middle of an interview to a local peasant who had it in his home and was using it as a table.
There are a few legends and theories about this ancient god the one i like is an andenean legend that has been carried by word of mouth through the centuries.
In the begging of the world Wiracocha made heaven and earth and put men, animals and plants in it but they lived in total darkness and chaos.
Until one day Wiracocha emerged from lake Titicaca and as punishment to the first inhabitants he turn them into rocks. Then he divided the Universe into three sections : Hanan Pacha (above world),
Kay Pacha (here world) and Uqu Pacha (the inner world). In the (above world) he made the sun, the moon,
the stars and all of the other celestial beings and put order to it's functions and orbits. In the(here world) he made a new generation of men and women that he moulded from rocks that took life and populated the land. And in the (inner world) he made the leaders of the world , they emerged from the lakes, caves and
water springs . After he finished his work he headed to the ocean and walk the waves and disappear into the horizon .

And the third is claiming it "wasn't me" |
