It's Definitely a Privilege.

This photo is one of Madeline's best yet. She saw the moment, she seized the moment. 

Striking a deal with the taxi driver before heading to the town of Huilloc.

Huilloc is a town well known for not using pesticides or chemicals in their crops.

Off  to work.

After the carrot's harvest is done, they soak them over night on a river stream.

And in the morning they get the kids to do the washing up with the human tumble machine.

Peak hour traffic in the main street of Huilloc. Every morning livestock is taken out to the fields and at night the
livestock is brought back inside.  A steady stream of donkeys, bulls, pig, goats and sheep.

They were happy kids, I wonder if the dog was as happy.

This piggy ran all the way home.....

Louise bought a small hand made alpaca textile from this lady apparently it took her  about 100 hrs to make.

These ladies are proud of their heritage and wear their traditional clothing everyday, always red.

This gentleman is bringing back food for his livestock.

This is one of the many fresh water channels running around the town of Ollantaytambo.

The old part of the town of Ollantaytambo is almost fully build in colonial style on top of Inca buildings.
This doorway would be at least 600years old.

This little piggy wanted to go home cause they were going to eat him. Each sack made a different noise depending on the animal inside.

This hostel in Urubamba had a beautiful garden. Very relaxing.

Madeline took a lot of beautiful photo's of the flowers in the hostel gardens.

Mexican stand off. I reckon the llama was building up a golly. Check the ears on the llama. He definitely wasn't pleased. 

Whilst in the town of Urubamba we visit some of the best artisans in the Sacred Valley.

This particular Artist Seminario had spend all his working life  reviving ancient Inca and pre-Inca techniques
in clay that includes the shapes, natural paints, finishes and most important the art.

These guys were sitting beside the road drinking home made pure alcohol from a coke bottle.
